COOK Education Center is a California Department of Education certified non-sectarian, nonpublic school that is part of The Institute for Effective Education’s family of schools. Our school has received the highest commendations for the quality of its education of students with disabilities from the students themselves, from parents, school officials, professors of education, and elected officials. The COOK Education Center (COOK) houses two special education programs for students in grades 7-12+: the Secondary Program and the Workshop at COOK program. In addition to traditional, applied, and functional academics and social skills, many students enrolled at COOK require intensive behavior supports.
