What is San Diego State University Model United Nations?
San Diego State University Model United Nations (SDSUMUN) is a growing Recognized Student Organization (RSO) at SDSU meant to engage undergraduate and graduate students in the process of societal globalization. Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically role-play real world situations as delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees.
This week MUN is back!!! Wednesday at 7pm in the Visionary Suite. All students welcome. Feel free to message us if you have any questions!

Tonight from 7-8pm will be preparing for next week’s conference at California State University, Long Beach! Join us as we debate “Addressing the Custom of Child Marriage and it’s Effect on Girls.” While registration for this conference has passed, tonight’s practice will be beneficial to all who are interested in United Nations procedure and foreign policy. This weekend SDSU MUN represented Egypt, Honduras, Nigeria, and Kiribati in three different committees at SBIMUN hosted by UC Santa Barbara. Congratulations to all the members who participated in this conference!

Yesterday our delegates participated in a MUN Training Conference hosted here at SDSU to prepare for the UCSB conference in two weeks. We discussed Preventing the Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALWs) in DISEC and definitely learned a lot with this experience!
