Develop Joy time goes by, so slowly but time can do so much; love always Lawler, Vincent Versace, et.al.

Developing Joy is my vision of sharing with others my experience in one-on-one consultation, recorded instruction and destination workshops how to develop Joy by expression through a photograph using the current day tools that are available: digital cameras, scanners, personal computers, imaging software (primarily Adobe® Photoshop® LightRoom®, but not limited to) color managed solutions through to printers capable of creating fine art, archival photographic prints (Epson). I have been helping photographers and other artists express themselves using the currently best offered equipment created for imaging since 1997 (approximately). I have been employed by a number of companies noted for this equipment: Nikon, Minolta and Leaf (a division of Kodak’s Graphics Communication division at that time). I have been privileged to be educated by some notable teachers over this time, including: Katrin Eisman, Brian P. I founded Develop Joy in 2014 to continue my efforts to share knowledge that helps others develop joy in expressing themselves through photography, as an art form. Since I began in 1997 I have worked with a number of notable artists and institutions that have been integral in my development: Catherine Opie, Xavier Fumat (collaborator with Richard Serra at Gemini GEL), LACMA (Peter Brenner and the Photo Services Department).
