FIS members put their financial skills to the test this semester, travelling around the country to compete and network with like-minded students from other universities. It was a busy semester with representatives at: CFA Institute Research Challenge, USC VIG Investment Competition, Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC), UGF Venture Capital Case Competition, and the Global Case Competition at Harvard!

TODAY! We are having a workshop covering market updates, real stock pitches, options trading, and investing.

After our weekly market update, our past exec members from FIS will pitch us their second place victory stock pick for the 2019 CFA challenge on Axos Bank! You will have the chance to learn about their research process, answering judges, and anything else you would like to know.

We will then learn the basics of options trading including calls, puts, and how using leverage can make you big money. (or lose everything)

Finally, we will learn how to navigate Investors Business Daily, a new subscription we bought for our members, to help you step up your investing game.
