Congratulations to the Pence Elementary School team for being recognized by Veterans and Military Affairs at the Imperial Beach City Council last evening. Teacher Celeste Flores was named Teacher of the Year for her support of veterans and students were honored for their participation in the Patriots Pen Essay Competition.

Every day counts at Pence and this happy 1st grader was the first student of the year to be randomly selected for a Caught Being at School award to Denny’s!
