Upcoming V***r Trails open house. Join us!

V***r Trails celebrated the holidays with a gift exchange while also installing their officers for the Spring term. Those who wished to participate brought a gift. As each member opened a gift they gave a short speech on how perfect the gift was for them. A couple of members saw their prized present purloined and had to find a new gift from the wrapped selection or steal from someone else.

On Halloween Eve, V***r Trails conducted it's weekly meeting as a Halloween Spooktacular, on the eve of the festive day. Many showed up in costume and lights were out during some sections to enhance the evening's spooky atmosphere.

Jeff Staggs won our Best Speaker last night for his speech about being a “Partotthead”.

We were pleased to have our first hybrid meeting tonight, and despite all odds, it ran very smoothly! Some of our in-person attendees got to meet in person for the first time, and our online attendees got to see and hear members speak at the lectern that had been collecting dust over the past couple years! It was a real treat to witness the V***r Trailers come together and pull through for yet another successful meeting. We heard a dazzling speech from online attendee Li about body language, followed by an expert evaluation from Bob! A fun Table Topics session about professions was led by our beloved Sheila, and smiles and laughter could be seen all around both the rec center room and the zoom screen. A huge thank you to Veronica, Jimmy Mac and Paul for the testing you conducted to make this meeting happen. Can't wait for the next one! Hello again after another social media break! V***r Trails Toastmasters had a fantastic meeting tonight with a Summertime Activities theme! We first elected officers for our next term (stay tuned for an introduction to our new officers!) We then had a fun Table Topics session where we learned about some of our members' favorite summer activities. Our new (but experienced) member Leanne and our beloved and seasoned member Phillip graced us with wonderful speeches.
