We are honored to welcome Professor Hiroshi Motomura, the Susan Westerberg Prager Distinguished Professor of Law and Faculty Co-Director of the Miñana Family Center for Immigration Law and Policy at UCLA School of Law. Recently recognized by the Carnegie Foundation as a 2026 Great Immigrant, Great American, Professor Motomura is an internationally recognized scholar whose work has shaped conversations on immigration law, constitutional law, and belonging.

In his lecture, "Immigration, Belonging, and the Constitution," Professor Motomura will explore one of the defining constitutional questions of our time: Who belongs, and what role does the Constitution play in answering that question?
