Huge THANK YOU to Helen and Jon Chan for their hard work at McKinley over the years! Their youngest is promoting out of McK this year, and we will miss this family. Luckily, they were able to join us at the farewell event at Pretzels & Pints on Monday 💐
Together, they headed up the Jog-A-Thon Committee (McKinley's biggest fundraiser) for many years and helped raise over $500k for McKinley! Jon also served on the Foundation Board of Directors, and they have both helped out with various committees and projects over the years. Thank you, Chans!

Next up......a big THANK YOU goes to the incredible FOUND families and staff who helped make this another amazing year of connection, support and community at McKinley.

Thank you to all of our FOUND families and staff that have made this another amazing year together. We are so grateful to have supported one another, welcomed all kids to be their amazing selves together and to have continued to learn that all brains are beautiful. Wishing you all an awesome summer and will see you all in August.

It is impossible to quantify the enormous impact this incredible woman has had on our community. Every child and every family that has walked through the doors of our school for the last seven years has benefitted from her leadership, her fearlessness, her drive, her living example of JEDI ideals and practices, and her commitment that every member of our community should have a seat at the table and a voice in the conversation. Thank you, Carla!

As we wrap up another incredible school year, the 5th grade class would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to every parent, family member, and volunteer who helped make this year so special for our students.

Thank you to everyone who donated their time, money, creativity, energy, and snacks; wrapped flowers; designed and printed materials; staffed concession stands; sold costumes; designed shirts; tracked finances; rallied committees; organized legacies; reserved bonfire pits; spent weekends in Julian; coordinated meet-ups; and showed up again and again to support our students and school community. So many moments this year simply would not have happened without your generosity and willingness to help wherever needed.

A special thank you to Nicole B, Leslie M, Chris F, Kerry S, Susan H, Kellie M, Erina M, Andrea K, Julie C, Lauren P, Carla and Gina G-C, Lacey G, Lisa Z, Brooke R, Christine W, Karen N, Era B, Krijin V, Sherry M and Helen C for their dedication and countless contributions throughout the year.
