Let’s talk more about yesterday’s Fine Motor Skill craft, which was about more than St. Patrick’s Day.

Each child had their own bottle of glue and a clothespin to complete the task. They would make a line of glue, and pick up each Pom pom with the clothespin and stick it on the glue line.

Why?


Fine motor skill activities use the small muscles that control the hand, fingers, and thumb. They help children perform important tasks like feeding themselves, grasping toys, buttoning clothes, writing, drawing, and more. The ability to complete self-care and every day tasks helps build a child’s self esteem and confidence.

We all carry our Adult & Pediatric CPR Certs but there’s so such thing as being over prepared for an emergency.

Today our kit came in, though I pray 🙏🏾 we never have to use it, it’s here as a backup in the event we do.

Visual perception activities can help your kids make sense of the info their eyes are sending to their brains.

Therefore having good visual perception skills can help prepare children for formal learning.
