It is with a great sense of loss that I let all Sundevils and my friends about the passing of Adam Pavan this morning after an extended fight with illness. Life is not always fair, and this was a outstanding young man with great integrity being taken away from us at the age of 22. As he passed early this morning, he was surrounded by his mom Andrea, dad David, and sister Rachel.
Adam was a top five runner on our CIF XC Championship team in 2015. What a great team member, outstanding student, and great person. You could tell he was the type of young man who was going to be a success in life.
When I hear about services I will pass it on.
We all lose when such great young people leave us far to early.

Just a note to thank all the parents and others that helped yesterday at the 40th Mt. Carmel XC Invite. You were outstanding your support of the event and your kids. Year after year, coaches complement me on your involvement. I think that your involvement with them speaks much to the fact that your kids turn out so well later in life.

Senior Night 2018💛❤️
It goes without saying that we "Love Our Seniors". Cheers to everyone. Some will continue in the collegiate arena, some only for health and fitness and some maybe not at all. Thanks for all the examples in leadership, camaraderie, heart, discipline and courage to your teammates.

Today is the day! The Mt Carmel/ASICS Invitational is about to begin. Our awesome volunteers are ready to serve up some great food at the snack bar and do not forget to get a shirt to remember the day.
