Introducing our Vetrepreneur of the spring Alec Maddox a four-year
Marine Corps Veteran. During his time in the Marines, Alec spent his
time in infantry undergoing two deployments overseas. Alec is
currently a senior pursuing a degree in Economics while also building
a business to make a global impact in the housing market. Alec has
said that being a veteran in the Zip Launchpad has taught him how to
become a more effective entrepreneur. Upon graduation, Alec plans on
continuing to pursue his dream as an entrepreneur. 📸

Today we would like to highlight Marine Corps Veteran Fred Smith. After graduating from Yale University, he was commissioned as a Marine Corps Officer, serving two tours in Vietnam. Rhumbix replaces the Foreman’s notepad with a smartphone app that collects a variety of information in real-time: timecards, installed quantities, delays, safety hazards, etc. This information is immediately viewable through their web portal by project administrators and field supervision, and is fed into their labor productivity platform, which provides visibility into budget vs. actual performance on a daily basis.
