Recent grad Chelsea E. Hunter was interviewed by The San Diego Union-Tribune on using anthropology to improve bicycle infrastructure in San Diego!

"Anthropology has provided me with a mindset and skill set that is adept at negotiating numerous interests in issues of public concern and consequence. Anthropology teaches you to understand people on their own terms, rather than projecting onto them who or what they are. I think this is a valuable characteristic during any personal or professional experience in one’s life. However, in advocacy work, it enables me to find ways to address matters of fundamental importance to a wide variety of people, while trying to find shared mutual outcomes." -- Chelsea Hunter

Congratulations to Biological Anthropology graduate students Aaron Young and Carlos Vega! They both presented their research this week at the 2017 American Association of Physical Anthropologists meeting.
