Hey there, let me tell you about this fantastic journey I've embarked on. This past week, I celebrated my birthday, and you know what? I gave myself something unique and exciting - the launch of my new project, Joy Scoutz. Now, before you ask, let me explain. It's an adventure club, a safe space for us, the Gen-X women who are ready to rediscover their zest for life and embrace change. It's my dream, my little baby that I've been nurturing and developing for quite some time. And now, I'm both excited and anxious to share it with you.

I've envisioned Joy Scoutz as a platform where we can connect, learn, grow, and yes, seek adventures together. A friend described it as “An accountability group for FUN!” I love that. Trust me, it's going to be a fantastic ride, and I am so looking forward to you joining me on this journey.

This has been a big week for me, filled with hope, pride, and a dash of self-confidence. I've realized that it's time to take action towards our dreams, to stimulate our minds, and feed our creativity. It's time to wake up every morning with a smile, to look in the mirror and tell the strong, confident, happy woman looking back how awesome she is.

You might be thinking, 'Is this for me?' Absolutely! If you're curious, friendly, fearless, adventurous, loving, and fun, you're already a Joy Scout at heart. So, are you ready to be a Joy Scout in action?

Hey you, yes you, the one reading this right now. Guess what? I just turned 56! It was a work day, but I had a really fun birthday. I kicked off the day with a delicious free meal (thank you, birthday club coupon), shared laughter and stories with my sister, and then? I danced. I danced with the joy of someone who knows that age is just a number and life is a dance floor. My U-Jam Fitness class was filled with friends, the music was pumping, and we were all moving. It was electrifying! And to top it all off, I ended the day with my boys, a mouth-watering cake, and some magical presents.

As I looked at my reflection in the mirror at the end of the day, a person full of life and love smiled back. 'Bring on 56,' she said. And you know what? I'm SO ready. Ready for a year filled with adventure, excitement, and a whole lot of fun.
