Brody Hutto and Aleya Skinner represented Wichita Heights High School FCCLA at the 2025 National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida with their project - "A Brighter Tomorrow: Building a World Without Stigma". Their video project earned a gold medal and ranked 13th in the nation in the Digital Stories for Change FCCLA STAR Event Competition. Congratulations! Mr. G and the Wichita Heights High School Culinary program continue rock the ProStart Competition!

Final results are in for the Chapter Service Project Display team - 8th in the Nation!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Outstanding way to finish as these remarkable young women transition college. They truly are among the best of the best and we have the awards to prove it.

Final highlights as we head home today. It has been an incredible week creating memories and the culmination of years of hard work but as Dorthy said in the Wizard of Oz, “there’s no place like home”.

Earning a spot on the big stage with a TOP 10 placing at the 2022 National FCCLA Leadership Conference for their gold medal Chapter Service Project are Becca Kauffman, De’Azia Aysia Lashay Gulley, and Zhane’ Love. Final placing will be available later this week but we are beyond !

Making it to the podium at the 2022 National FCCLA National Leadership Conference is Taylin Coleman. This 2 time national qualifier earned a gold medal and SECOND OVERALL finish in the Teach & Train event. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 We are so proud of you!

Lions, tigers, and bears! Oh my!!! Beautiful evening at the San Diego Zoo. Everyone got to see their favorite animal. Finished off with an aerial tram ride that a couple of people struggled with. 😂😂😂

Today we play because . . . we’ve been invited back to the 2022 FCCLA National Leadership Conference Top 10 Finalist Awards Ceremony for both events!!!
