I went to Le Bal des Débutantes, where kids of Hollywood legends, royals, and business moguls make their high-society debut. It was a night full of glamour I'll never forget. Le Bal des Débutantes, the world's most exclusive debutante ball, returned after a three-year hiatus. Attendees included Olympic skier Elieen Gu.

As a Vice President and a Chief Protocol Officer to The Royal Society of St. George, CA branch It is with great sadness that we join the nations of the Commonwealth and beyond in mourning at the death of our Patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, undoubtedly the country’s greatest Monarch.
She has served the whole Country and the Commonwealth unstintingly throughout her reign and the constancy and stability she has brought was the envy of the world. Her example of untiring duty and service over the last 70 years has been an example to us all.
May she Rest in Peace.

Rum is the 3th most popular drink in the United States and it is a great addition for the summer cocktails with a dreamy and delicious flavor.
The clear rum is excellent for cocktails, however the dark one is great to be consumed as it is.
A few etiquette tips for the Hostess with the Mostess this summer:
- Do not serve cold dark rum.
- Choose a proper rum glass, such as snifter.
- Serve it after the meal in pairing with desserts and fruits such as pineapple, banana, figs, pears and/or oven roasted almonds.
- Do not add ice cubes.
- Dark rum is meant to be enjoyed for a prolonged period of time. It is not a shot….do not serve dark rum in shot glasses.
- Do not serve previously opened rum during formal occasions.
Barbados claims the first legal “pot still house,” proving Mount Gay to be the world’s oldest rum producer. I tried this rum a few years back while visiting Barbados and I loved it!
