What a day! ✈️😅
The morning started with a canceled flight. After speaking with an agent, my only option was tomorrow—but I needed to be back in San Diego by 10 AM. Why? Pickleball time 🏓💪 (3 weeks away from my advanced group is way too long!).
I drove to the airport, found an amazing ticket agent, and got rebooked for tonight. 🎉 But then my 11 AM flight faced FIVE delays. Finally, at 5 PM, we boarded…only for the flight to be canceled AGAIN because of a crew issue. 😩
Determined not to miss out, I rented a car 🚗 and planned a backup: indoor pickleball in the morning and a new flight back to San Diego tomorrow evening.
Bright side? I made the most of it with a relaxing 30-minute chair massage 💆♀️, free meals 🍽️ (Outback Steakhouse!), and a comfy Marriott stay 🏨. Plus, I’ll still get my pickleball fix tomorrow morning. 🙌 Sometimes, you’ve just got to roll with it!
