Hey everyone! My name is Katie, I’m the publicist here for SEA! For everyone new here, welcome! I was unable to attend welcome week (I was working), so I wanted to introduce myself here:)

I’m a 4th year marine biology transfer student, and my goal is to work in rescue of marine and land animals! Currently I do a lot of work for the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County, including fostering. I work as a zookeeper at Zoomars at River Street Ranch in San Juan Capistrano. I’m also an Aquarist Assistant at Birch Aquarium.

SIO 134 has a midterm next week on Thursday. So, this Friday, 5PM, Vaughan 100, we’ll be hosting a study session. At least one of the TAs should be there to answer questions:)

Our first GBM is this Monday, 5PM, at Vaughan 100. We have lots to go over and some snacks and games after the meeting.
