Meet Emily! 🧚🏼‍♀️ Emily is a 3rd year & will be graduating early this school year! She is currently our VP of Programming but when she isn’t planning amazing programs for us, she is the best roomie, sister, friend & supporter anyone could ask for! 💗🌊 She is here for everyone whether it be to give advice, makeup tips, fashion inspiration or explore San Diego 🌻 Here is a little something that Emily has to say about her time in SK: “Sigma Kappa is an organization of empowerment, passion, fellowship, support and most of all love. During my time in Sigma Kappa I have created deep friendships and a sisterhood that will shape the rest of my days. These women are my friends, my sisters, my support system and my inspiration. They see the best in me, and every day I aspire to live up to those expectations and have grown into a better woman because of it. Since the first day I joined, Sigma Kappa has been a home for me. And I know that even after I graduate I will always have a connection and a support system of love with my sisters.”❣️

🌻 Our chapter got 1st in grades for Spring Quarter with a chapter GPA of 3.837! 💛 We are so proud of our sisters for being hard-working, intelligent, ambitious and inspiring women 🤓🔥

🦋 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🦋
You know her for her amazing dance moves and a smile to match too 😉 Alex Kim was not only President of the UCSD Dance Team, 💃🏻 but she also served as the previous Social Chair of Sigma Kappa and will be finishing up her major in Data Science within the next year 🔱💫 She has been a vital part of our chapter- helping so many of our sisters feel welcomed and at home, being an essential helping hand during recruitment, and has been a huge part of choreographing Sigma Kappa’s dance routine every year in our philanthropy, Sigma Kappa’s Best Dance Crew! 🤍 We are so grateful for everything you’ve done for us, Alex. We will miss you so much and we love you! 💝👯‍♀️

An angel on earth… 👼🏼 Melody, we will miss you dearly 🤍 Not only is she a fashion queen and the sweetest gal, our sister is a public health major that has a passion for helping others. Her ultimate goal in life is to help everyone in the U.S. get access to free medical care. Melody is the co-president of Persians Pursuing Pre-Health Professions and is the community service officer of Public Health Club, where she organized events such as making biodegradable/recyclable dental kits for San Diego homeless shelters and having students volunteer at local food distributions. She also volunteers at a dental office, non-profit health clinic, and Moore’s Cancer Center for a nutritions project 👸🏻🌱

We admire your work ethic, your ability to touch and connect with every single person you meet, and we can’t wait to see what more amazing things you will accomplish. You truly embody the ideals of a Sigma Kappa. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us 🥺💜 We love you Melody! 🦋🕊

The fashion queen, the INVENTOR of bid day themes (yeah, seriously 😏) and the best sister ever... She is heavily involved at a local food bank, a global health major, a social rights activist, and a fashionable gal who buys her clothes sustainably and secondhand. Kirra Mardesich we will miss you so much, you have been a huge inspiration to everyone in Sigma Kappa and have impacted the chapter greatly in the most amazing ways possible these past 4 years! 🕊 We’re going to miss seeing your beautiful face every meeting, being blessed with your outfits every formal and date dash, and being inspired by you. Sigma Kappa loves you and is grateful for you, Kirra! 💫💙
