We'll be there doing street safety audits for car-free transportation, including on-road 🚲 and on-sidewalk 🦼🛴🦽🛹 audit options. Get there however you can, and then let's audit street safety for your favorite mode of car-free travel. We'll also be offering mechanical assistance for you bike etc. Tag someone in Spring Valley and come on by! This is part of our SEEDS project, a CA Transformative Climate Community planning grant.

January 31, 2026: Hundreds of cyclists gathered in Balboa Park for a solidarity ride for Alex Pretti, whose life was taken by ICE while trying to protect his community. called for a nationwide remembrance ride, and San Diego cyclists from all over the county showed up to support and shouted their hearts out.

Bikes del Pueblo made the last minute decision to lead this massive bike ride, just a couple days prior to the event. We couldn’t have done it without the help from the SD bicycle community .bike .buds .fun

And please remember, protests are just the beginning—please do more. You can volunteer to connect with your community, join a mutual aid group, join a rapid response team, join a bike patrol, or start one!!
Never forget the others whose lives were stolen by ICE in the last month. They are: Renee Good, Keith Porter, Geraldo Lunas Campos, Victor Manuel Diaz, Parady La, Luis Beltran Yanez–Cruz, Heber, Sanchez Dominguez, and Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres.
