President Kevin Calkins' class of 2026 commencement speech was published online in the San Diego Union-Tribune today! Be on the lookout for the print version in this Sunday's edition. We are so proud of Dr. Calkins' inspiring words on humanity and AI.

Big news for Dons basketball! Cathedral Catholic High School is excited to welcome Wolfgang Wood as our new varsity boys basketball head coach. Coach Wood brings an impressive résumé, including a 115–66 record at St. Bonaventure High School, three league titles, multiple CIF Finals appearances, and several Coach of the Year honors. A standout player himself and part of a remarkable basketball family (Wolfgang's dad was an Olympic Gold Medalist and played 8 years in the NBA!), he also contributed to a CIF-SS Division I championship as an assistant at Santa Margarita. Please join us in giving Coach Wood and his wife, Marykate, a warm Dons welcome.
