Building communities of people who center their lives around Jesus [Ephesians 3:8]
I have a passion to help people follow Jesus with clarity and decided to create helpful contents that can be easily access by Jesus followers so that our communities can grow and flourish.

Being wrong can be tough for anyone, myself included. It's not always easy to accept when someone corrects us. However, I'm trying to change my perspective and see these moments as opportunities to learn and grow.
Instead of getting defensive when I'm wrong about something, I want to be curious about what I don't know. I'm realizing that even if I'm knowledgeable in one area, like my own faith, it doesn't mean I'm an expert in everything. For example, following Jesus doesn't automatically make me an authority on all world religions.
If "Partner" was a person. 🤝
Thinking about the commitment I've made to school for the next five years. Do I even want to do it?🤔🥱
As a hands-on learner, I do my best to actively listen and take mental notes when someone is talking to me. Whether it's a casual conversation or a learning opportunity, I want to fully participate and absorb as much information as possible. In the end, all I ask is that my colleagues will do the same. That way, we all win.

Remembering the Devastation of Civil Wars in Liberia
It's been over 20 years since the end of Liberia's brutal civil wars that raged from 1989 to 2003, but the horrific impacts still reverberate today. More than 250,000 people lost their lives during those dark years of violence and upheaval. Entire generations were shaped by fear, loss and displacement.
After everything we've endured, I hope this election can show the world how far we've come.
As Liberians continue efforts to heal and rebuild, we must hold close the memories of those who perished. We must learn from the past and vow to break cycles of violence. Progress takes time, but we move forward in hope - hope for lasting peace, hope for future generations that never have to endure what so many suffered through. Hope that Liberia's people can unite and write a new chapter together.
Empowerment may be defined as the removal of conditions that make a person powerless.

Still can't get past Matthew's opening😲
Matthew's Gospel
Picture a presidential motorcade, with numerous cars driving ahead of the central figure. Now envision people on the roadside, eagerly anticipating who will appear in the middle or at the end of this procession. This is the image to keep in mind while reading Matthew chapter 1.
Matthew skillfully introduces Jesus as if he were at the end of this metaphorical motorcade. The key point here is that Israel has been waiting for thousands of years for this birth – a baby with true royal blood.
P.S. For most of the time after the Babylonian exile, Israel had not had a functioning monarchy. The kings and queens they had had in the last 200 years before the birth of Jesus were not from David's family.
Reading Thoughts
During the Roman era, figures like Herod the Great could be appointed as king even with no royal blood, as long as it aligned with Rome's Middle Eastern agenda. Claiming descent from a royal family was politically significant and potentially dangerous. You
wouldn't want Herod's spies to overhear you boasting that you were part of the true royal family.
Matthew highlighted Jesus' royal lineage to assert that he was not just an ordinary member of his family. He organized genealogies to demonstrate that Jesus possessed true royal blood and was destined for kingship. The genealogies in the first chapter of Matthew's Gospel is a strong political statement.
Family Fun Fact
Family Fun Fact:
My wife and I have simple desires in life. All I want is to read the Bible on my computer without my son typing A to Z. Meanwhile, my wife wishes for Elsa to stop breastfeeding so she can focus on her studies.
PS: Elis is now asleep so I'm reading Matthew's Gospel and drinking red wine 🍷
When we look at the crucifixion narratives in all four Gospels, it’s all about Jesus being enthroned as king.
I heard great messages this Easter, but I gotta say we are missing an important piece
Under Christ Jesus' rule, everyone is under authority and no one in authority has unlimited authority.
One reason it's called Salvation is that without it we are doomed.
Now it wouldn't make sense to cross people off the rescue list while they are already drowning just because they aren't on their best behavior, right?
How bout we go to the same length and depths to provide rescue for doomed people since that's the same strategy that got us rescued?
We don't wanna have rescue swimmers who cant afford to get in deep water! Yea..?
Most times when we read the scriptures, we tend to search for what endorses our areas of belief instead of reading to find out if even our beliefs are endorsed by the scriptures.
I believe in a lot of doctrines that I've either learned from school or Leaders that I am a student of. Yet still, when I read, I'm ready to be schooled.
When we read, it's a time set aside to know the truth not to prove we are right.
God's call to holiness should never be seen as our chance to earn a place before him.
