United States Conference of Bishops: Press Release

WASHINGTON - Pope Francis has appointed the Rev. Michael Pham and Rev. Felipe Pulido as auxiliary bishops of San Diego. Bishop-elect Pham is a priest of the Diocese of San Diego and currently serves as vicar general of the Diocese of San Diego and pastor of Good Shepherd parish in San Diego.

The newly appointed Auxiliary Bishops will be installed at St. Therese of Carmel Church on Thursday, September 28th. Due to the magnitude of this event, campus will be closed to students on this day. Please click line for revised calendar.

Dear board members, event chairs, and volunteers,

I hope this message finds you well. As my term as Dad's Club president comes to an end, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to serve alongside remarkable individuals like Dushon Simoes, Chris Stavrianos, Jeff Koneke, and Peter Zwichorowski, as well as the incredible support of past board members and presidents Fred Derheimer, John McKay, Franco Simone, and John Lek. The past years have been incredible, and I am truly thankful for our shared experiences.

Being the Dad's Club president has been a rewarding journey, filled with joy and accomplishment as we organized events and fostered a strong sense of community. None of this would have been possible without your support, dedication, and enthusiasm.

A special thank you to each event chair and volunteer for your invaluable contributions. Your commitment, creativity, and willingness to go above and beyond made our initiatives a success.

I am thrilled to introduce Chris Stavrianos as the president and Peter Zwichorowski as the vice president for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. With their leadership and the support of incoming board members Howie Tran, Phillip Schumacher, and Brendan McCabe, I have complete faith in a smooth transition and a successful year ahead.

For all returning dads, be on the lookout for an invitation in August for our first gathering in September. I look forward to reconnecting with you and continuing to be of service to the new board.
