𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙂𝙍𝘼𝙏𝙐𝙇𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎 𝙏𝙊 𝘿𝙀𝘼𝙉 𝙅𝘼𝙉𝙀 𝙂𝙀𝙊𝙍𝙂𝙀𝙎
𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙃𝙀𝙍 𝙀𝙇𝙀𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝙏𝙊 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘼𝙈𝙀𝙍𝙄𝘾𝘼𝙉 𝘼𝘾𝘼𝘿𝙀𝙈𝙔 𝙊𝙁 𝙉𝙐𝙍𝙎𝙄𝙉𝙂

Dean Jane Georges, PhD, RN, joined the faculty at HSON in 1996. Her substantial contributions to health and health care have been recognized by her selection as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, the highest honor in American nursing. Dr. Georges’ scholarly work in the field of health equity has made an international impact on nursing education and research across the globe.

Dean Georges will be inducted formally into the American Academy of Nursing on Oct. 18, 2025, joining the following USD Nursing Faculty who hold the title of Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing:

Ann Mayo, DNSc, RN, FAAN
Adriana Arcia, PhD, RN, FAAN
