San Diego's housing crisis is an education crisis, & SDEA members have been using their collective power to push for housing solutions that support educators & communities alike. There is finally a safe parking lot on District property where unhoused students and their families can sleep & access services, but this is a temporary solution for families with nowhere else to go. Students, families, & educators need HOUSING! That's why SDEA has endorsed a YES vote on Measure A: Vacant Homes Tax. β
