Happy Time Learning Academy

Today was our ice cream social !
A time where we get to let parents know we appreciate them trusting us with their precious little ones . A time to let the parents meet other parents that their children attend daycare with . A time for previous students to stop by and say hello ! Overall my business is blessed and it will continue to be a blessing to the families we serve .
Fun fact I use to do field trips , but now because Kids are different we stay put and let the fun come to us . I have a saying , I pay and parents get to play.
We have multiple times of year we gather and it helps keep the kids and families connected !

This year we have decided to ditch the traditional circle time .
It has gotten to be a challenge with multiple age groups , children not having a good attention spans to sit still and focus .
Instead of focusing on what isn’t working we took a different route . We have been doing individual time work .
What this looks like is each child is worked with one to one with an age appropriate activity . We have found this to be very successful . Children have the teachers undivided attention . We get to work with each child where they are and help them excel to the next level .
It helps that our group is smaller this year .
The children also have started playing and interacting with each other more when the are in their play groups together .

Last night was our annual family night at the pumpkin patch.
In my wise years it’s served me to have parents come out enjoy their lil precious children and meet and mingle with the other families their children attend school with .
I call it I pay you play !
