There’s been a lot happening at EID! Swipe to see what we’ve been up to ➡️
1-2: We’re hoping we inspired some future EID students! Two of our 11th grade ambassadors volunteered to represent EID at the San Diego Co-Op School. We also hosted a tour for middle school students from Taft yesterday. We loved the enthusiasm.
3-4: Last week, we also had the chance to collaborate with the architects and designers of Kearny’s modernization plans! We love an opportunity to get our kids listening to and working with industry partners.

Anything helps! If you can, please consider donating to our fundraiser or sharing our post to your social media. 📲
The money will be sent to the EID Ambassadors: a group of student volunteers who organize events to celebrate the hard work and achievement of our EID students. Last year, we dunked teachers in ice cold water, hosted a free BBQ lunch for all students, set up a kickball tournament, and celebrated academic growth every semester with prizes. We hope to continue more similar events this year.
Thank you for your support! Go Komets! 🎉

Presenting the first ever EID Day champions: this 11th grade team! All the grade levels played their best, and it was awesome to see our entire EID family come together to celebrate the end of the school year.
Don’t forget — Next Monday (only 1st and 2nd period) and Tuesday (only 3rd and 4th) are shortened schedule days. Also, bring your textbooks back!
Special shoutout to the EID Ambassadors for hosting the event. You all are a rockstar team of students, and we’ll see what’s in store for next year 😉

Congratulations to EID's winners of the Solv Energy and SEI PowerUp Challenge for their innovative and effective campaigns to promote energy conservation. It was such a meaningful way to combine skills in English and Engineering classes in a project that even had a cash incentive! Well done, EID sophomores! 💡

Congratulations to the ACE Club who showcased this past Saturday at SDSU 🎉. They brought home $17,000 💰 in scholarship money and dominated. Hands down best dressed 👔 and best presentation. These students worked so hard for months and it all came together. Not to mention all the networking opportunities to work with mentors in 14 different ACE related fields. Mentored by professionals students get paid internships, and experience in the fields.

REPOST & SHARE! The EID Ambassadors proudly present…Our first ever dunk tank event! Our club’s goal is to bring culture and community to EID. We want our students to enjoy being a part of our EID family!…which means dunking staff in ice cold water 😂 We’re raising money to do more fun events like this in the future, so bring some 💵 to dunk Mr. Michaelian, Ms. Hamilton, and some teachers by the 1000 building!
Thanks EID Ambassadors for your hard work. If you want to join our planning process for volunteer hours, our meetings are on Wednesday’s during lunch in 1002.

We're very excited to have students run machines starting in the 9th grade or even younger as middle school visitors.
These Desktop Mills are so easy to set-up - it took less than 15 minutes per machine from flipping the first metal tab to open the shipping crate to starting the spindle and jogging the machine around.
Thanks for the support with the initial unlock codes.
