The class of ‘66/‘67 had a get together tonight at the Handlery Hotel. A great time was had by all!! Thanks Christine McCormick for organizing:-) Go Komets!!

Fun end today to the event filled Homecoming weekend! At the height of the potluck picnic, we had around 70 people enjoying great conversations and yummy food! Komets who graduated in the 50’s to the 80’s with a special contingent from the Class of 79, who had their reunion last night. They’ll be posting a lot more pics on their reunion page. Look forward to seeing you all next year. Go Komets!

Winners for Homecoming Court will be announced tomorrow night at the dance, which will be held in the gym:-)

Before the big 50th Reunion tonight, the '73-'74, CIF Championship Basketball Team (the ones in the maroon t-shirts), who are also Hall of Fame Inductees, had their own mini-reunion with a few other notable alumnus. Go Komets!

We're at the Class of 1974 50th Reunion. It's starting to fill up with lots of Komets. They are checking in and are ready to have a great time! Having a blast talking with people we haven't seen in years. Stop by the Alumni Associations table and say hi, and get some Kearny gear before you leave.

Homecoming Weekend is two weeks away! Events include:

Friday, Sept 27: Kearny Komets vs Southwest Raiders @ Kearny Football Stadium, 7pm. Tickets must be purchased online at gofan.co starting Wed, Sept 25.

Saturday, Sept 28: Class of 1979 45th Reunion @ The Butcher Shop, 5pm - 9pm.

Sunday, Sept 29th: All Class Potluck Picnic @ Admiral Bakers Gazebo 1, 11am - 3pm. Bring a dish to share (cups, plates, napkins will be provided).

Time is running out. C/O '79 Reunion is just a little over two weeks out. If you haven’t already got your tickets, get them by Saturday to lock in the discounted price of $61.00 each. After Saturday, the “at the door” price of $79.00 each is in effect.
Also, Dee Dee, Tracie, and Jennifer have requested a head count of who is going by September 17th.
