If you would like to volunteer at the San Diego food bank and help the needy, there is an opportunity to do so on May 9th from 6-8 PM. A good amount of us went last quarter and really enjoyed it.

Interaction was a part of a team of 64 staff, students, faculty and community members for the 2/2 San Diego Food Bank volunteering event.
The team successfully packed 600 boxes for seniors and sorted and bagged 4,035 pounds of apples and oranges - that translates to 17,361 meals for hungry San Diegans!

Thank you to our panelists and to those who came out to our event, San Diego's Response to the Refugee Crisis, yesterday evening. We were fortunate to have five speakers come out to share their professional expertise and personal experience with the community. We hope that the panel discussion was inspiring and insightful. On top of our speakers, we would also like to thank those who help make this event possible!

We would like to thank everyone for their support to this successful Clothing Drive event and to those who have graciously donated their clothes over the past few weeks!

InterAction will be hosting its first event ever on August 11th at 2pm in the GPS lounge: a clothing donation/exchange drive!!!!!

We will be donating all the clothes remaining to Haitian refugees! Please bring clothes that you've been meaning to donate/sell/give away and you might find a couple things you like (obviously, keep in mind that the main goal is to send more donations to refugees).

This is perfect for those who are just moving to San Diego and are looking to donate some pieces after moving! We are accepting donations until the 11th, so please coordinate with me on donations; if you're on campus, drop them off in the box in the lounge throughout the week starting on Monday!
