Ashlee and Carli had an unforgettable and impactful day at the Sacramento State Capitol! 🌟

They attended the Family Voices Summit and spent time meeting with leaders including Assemblymember Mia Bonta, Assemblymember Christopher Ward, representatives from Senator Brian Jones, Assemblymember Laurie Davies, and from Carl DeMaio’s office. During these meetings, they shared their personal stories and spoke passionately about their purpose for visiting—highlighting how Together We Grow has made a meaningful difference in their lives.

Their voices truly reflected the importance of our Center, not only to them but to the entire community. Ashlee and Carli were incredibly articulate and eloquent, representing Together We Grow with confidence, heart, and authenticity. 💙

We are so proud of both of them for their ability to advocate and share their experiences so powerfully. They were even honored with certificates of recognition from
Senator Akilah Weber Pierson’s office recognizing their accomplishments and their advocacy efforts—such a well-deserved recognition!

A heartfelt thank you to their amazing parents for their continued support, and a very special thank you to Ms. Terry for making this incredible opportunity possible for these inspiring young women.

The food was absolutely delicious. A huge thank you to Ms. Tonja for her incredible dedication and care in preparing such a wonderful meal. Every bite was made with love, and we are so grateful for her hard work.

Our parking lot transformed into a Halloween wonderland! Families came together for our annual Trunk or Treat celebration — a safe, fun, and candy-filled evening for all ages 🍬✨From spooky trunks to silly costumes, our little pumpkins had a blast trick-or-treating, playing games, and showing off their creative outfits.
