This course/team is for the student who is interested in intercollegiate forensics (speech and debate) competition. (FT).
Special emphasis is given to the preparation of platform speeches (informative, persuasive and after-dinner) and novice intercollegiate debate. Students taking the course for one unit participate in one event and one tournament; for two units, two events and two tournaments; for three units, three events and three tournaments. Hi All: We are LIVE again. We are back on campus and ready to work with you! Speech & Debate meets on Tuesdays in SB 117 from 2:20-5:25. Come on by and learn more.
Getting ready for the new year in speech and debate. Trips this year include Lima, Peru and Washington, DC. Team meetings are MW 11:10-12:35 in SB 117. Come and join us if you have interest in competitive speaking!
