"We had a lively discussion on Monday on Visionary Women--all of us shared our thoughts of the four women who changed our world in drastic ways. next gathering will have Frances Mercado (Nicole's mom), hosting at her home in oceanside. rsvp to her or nicole directly. Monday, oct 15th, 7pm --she chose 2 books--read both (short & easy reads) or one or the other.
I've Been Thinking by Maria Shriver and The Lady in Red (Nancy Reagan memoirs) by Sheila Tate. books are available at our libraries, or better world books or amazon. this book gathering is before our Founder's Day Mass on Oct 21--at st James, Solana beach 11:30 mass with reception following in adjoining Social Room. hope to see many of you. lynn"

Student Care Packages went out to the current SMC Students today thanks to the San Diego Alumni Association!

Each student received:
1. Bloom Student Planner
2. Diamond Pen
3. Corkcicle Hot/Cold Mug

The Student Planners all the same design but the Pen and the Corkcicles came in a variety of colors but they were all beautiful!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our Afternoon Tea today - it was wonderful to see everyone. And thanks to Jen for setting up the reservation.

We didn't have any actual students to help send-off but still had a lovely time visiting with each other and reminiscing.

Our next event is the Founders Mass in October - hope to see everyone there.

REMINDER Tomorrow is Afternoon Tea for our Student Send-Off! I'm so excited to see everyone and talk all about Belles-stuff!
