Bravo to Mr. Logue’s Seventh Grade class on completing a three-show run of Chateau La Roche! 🎭✨ Written by Lauren Wilson and directed by Ms. Emilia, the production brought laughter, energy, and wonderful performances to the stage.

Set in a charming French lakeside hotel overrun with cockroaches just as important guests arrive, the fast-paced comedy featured eccentric characters, slapstick humor, and plenty of hilarious chaos.

Thank you to our students and faculty for sharing such a spectacularly funny show enjoyed by all! 👏

The ringing of the bells is a cherished Waldorf tradition, marking moments of transition, celebration, and passage within the life of the school community. 🔔✨

This week, our seniors returned to the Altadena campus and journeyed backward through their Waldorf years, visiting each class from Grade 8 through Grade 1. Along the way, they shared memories and stories with the students who now fill those classrooms, while each class offered a special farewell in return — a song, a poem, or a small trinket to send the seniors on their way.

The journey culminated with a morning picnic shared with their first-grade buddies, bringing their time at WSSD beautifully full circle. Through the ringing of the bells, we honor both endings and beginnings — celebrating the growth, relationships, and experiences that have shaped these students and the paths that now await them.

May the sound of the bells carry with it memories of laughter, learning, and community, and remind our graduates that they will always be part of the Waldorf School of San Diego family. 💛🎓
