This 4.5 million dollar facility was made possible with generous public and private donations. The Center is named after our lead donor family - the "George E. Barnes Family Junior Tennis Center." The Center is dedicated to the youth of San Diego

We are beyond excited to introduce the newest addition to the Youth Tennis San Diego family! Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Cindy Bennett as our new Development Coordinator!
Cindy brings a powerhouse of experience and a lifelong passion for racquet sports, youth development, and inspiring others to reach their full potential. Her resume is as impressive as her backhand, and we couldn't be luckier to have her on the team.
🌟 About Cindy:
• Local Roots & Athletic Grit: An SDSU Alumna and former collegiate soccer player.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: She successfully owned and operated a yoga studio, fitness center, and lifestyle boutique for 20 years.
• Community Leader: Former Social Director at the Kona Kai and Managing Director of the SoCal Athletic Singles Association. And current St. Augustine Boys JV High School Head Coach.
• BTC Family: A longtime competitive tennis player and Team Captain right here at BTC. She even co-hosted major events like Balboa’s 100-year Anniversary Extravaganza!
• On-Camera Pro: You might recognize her from her work in the entertainment industry as a spokesperson and fitness/sports.
🤝 Her Mission
In her role as Development Coordinator, she isn't just joining our staff—she’s becoming a champion for our mission. She will focus on cultivating community partnerships and securing the vital resources necessary to empower our YTSD athletes.
By bridging the gap between our supporters and our programs, she ensures that every aspiring player—from the recreational enthusiast to the high-performance competitor—has the funding, equipment, and opportunities they need to succeed.
