Behind every confident math student is a teacher who knows how to inspire, challenge, and support them.

Our teachers are at the heart of the RSM community. With backgrounds in mathematics or related fields and passion for the subject, they help students develop deep understanding, build confidence, and discover the joy of learning.

Meet three of our exceptional educators – Kate Pertsovsky, Dmitrii Trushchin, and Irena Burmistrovich – and discover what inspires their work with students in our newest blog post: mathschool.com/blog/news-and-events/behind-every-aha-moment-meet-the-teachers-who-inspire-rsm-students

This year, 11 students from RSM branches nationwide qualified for the USA(J)MO.

The USA(J)MO is one of the country's most selective math competitions. Students qualify based on their exceptional performance on the AMC and AIME, making this achievement a testament to advanced mathematical thinking, dedication, and perseverance.

Meet Harry Park, an RSM San Diego alumnus!
Harry joined RSM the summer after 5th grade with Mr. Bosko and continued through AP Calculus BC with Ms. Kristina. During his sophomore and junior years of high school, he returned to RSM as a Calculus BC teaching assistant.
At RSM, Harry developed strong problem-solving, logical reasoning, and critical thinking skills by learning to understand mathematical concepts rather than simply memorize formulas. That foundation sparked his passion for physics and prepared him for advanced coursework, internships, and research opportunities.
Outside the classroom, Harry served as captain of the varsity golf and cross country teams, was president of Speech and Debate, and represented his community as the Mayor-appointed District 1 Youth Commissioner for the City of San Diego. This fall, he will major in physics at Princeton University.
Congratulations, Harry! We wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter.

Summer is the perfect time to pause and ask: Does my child have enough time to daydream, explore, and simply play?

In a world of packed schedules and endless activities, children still need time to be kids, to imagine, create, socialize, and grow through both structured experiences and free play.
