With profound sadness, we announce that
our beloved Poet Jim passed away yesterday…..💔
He was known to us as a gentle, kind, noble and decent being-of-conscience.
He especially inspired many of our student-youths to find their own voice - with spoken word.
We have lost a rare light and devoted messenger of critically important awareness.
It was truly a priceless honor to have known him.

After more than a decade of service, Mid-City Community Music has made the difficult decision to close our doors.

We are deeply grateful for the support of our employees, volunteers, donors, and partners. We are proud of the impact we have made, and we thank everyone who has been a part of our journey.

Here's the first of some surprises I'm throwing out there for October. #1, this cool Halloween album. Loads of sweet scary arrangements of game tunes from fellow game composers. The fifth track is my own _The Game_ from Trilobyte Games , played by my surf band and featuring a wild solo by keyboard legend (and good friend) Adam Holzman. Next surprise...might there be a video?
