Congratulations to the Lady Geckos volleyball team for making it into the finals. The final match will be this afternoon at 2pm at Mira Mesa high school.
Thanks to all of the staff and community members who came out to support! Middle school athletics has been a phenomenal opportunity for our youth.

Last night, Grant parents got to experience the magic of Mrs. Banks and Mrs. Eckedal for themselves at the Art & Wine soirée. This beloved annual event is an incentive tier for Imagine Campaign donors and a unique opportunity to explore, create, and socialize with fellow caregivers and community members. Thanks to everyone who donated, everyone who came out to participate, and to Jen Habig, Mrs. Eckedal, and Mrs. Banks for organizing, coordinating, and facilitating the event.

We need your input! Principal Cain shared the needs assessment in today’s Gazette. Check your email and be sure to complete the survey by 11:59 pm on Monday, 1/27. Is it long, cumbersome, and need brain space? You betcha. Does it help our learners? Absolutely. Don’t know what is needed in your classroom? Ask your teachers! It’s a great way to support their requests and add your own. Let’s take care of business!

Winter break is here! The last day of school in 2024 is Friday, December 20th. Wear your favorite holiday outfit and warm up those vocal cords for the singalong.

Families are invited to join for the singalong, but remember that it’s standing room only.

Every household who donates at least $250 total will earn shirts for every Grant student in the home. It isn’t too late to get these shirts for your kiddos.

Back for the first time this decade, the Halloween Carnevil Cupcake Walk! And, we need the bakers among us to show off their skills.

🧁 Bakers, pick up your cupcake boxes at the Chatio entrance next week at the end of school day. 
🧁 If your cupcakes are vegan or free from sugar, nuts, or dairy, please indicate on the box.  
📅 Bring your boxed cupcakes to the carnival on October 26! 

And don’t forget about the annual costume and pumpkin decorating contests!
👻 Costume contestants should arrive fully dressed no later than 5 p.m. Photos will be taken as everyone arrives.
🎃 Pumpkin entries should be delivered to the carnival by 5 p.m. and should be able to stand without support (or backdrop). Please write your last name in permanent marker at the base of your pumpkin. Entries will be judged by grade level: primary, secondary, and middle school.
