ONE TIME ONLY!
Come support our UDC cast! They will be performing at Smith Recital Hall at noon!👯‍♀️
“We made a 35 minutes variation of a 12 minutes piece. As the dance repeats, we are working on how variations can come into play and influence our movement. For me it’s exciting to see how exhaustion can influence the movement, as well as what parts would look like if I was not there.”

With our Performance Forum show coming up, we’ve decided to share with you some information of what our Performance Forum class is about!
Our class is made up of students enrolled in Performance Forum I and II.
In Performance Forum I we study traditional choreographic forms and experiment with how dances are made. Classes expose student to a wide range of dance artist and ways to make dances. These experiences give students context to both expand and refine their artistic trajectories as dancemakers
In Performance Forum II students practice performance as a “higher stakes” continuation of the dancemaking process. Performances are laboratories to share, develop, and be seen in our research. We approach performance as a heightened domain for change, growth, and transformation
