Rhapsody is our biggest fundraiser of the year. PLHS is proud to offer an equitable and impactful arts education to all students. Funds raised through this event will help provide instruments, coaching, sheet music, supplies, and competition opportunities for our music students.

The Concert Band and Orchestra received two fantastic clinics today from Dr. Shannon Kitelinger, Director of Bands, and Michael Gerdes, Director of Orchestras at SDSU School of Music and Dance. Thank you for working with our students!

Over 300 student musicians from Dana MS, Correia MS, Grant TK-8, PLHS, and PLNU performed together at the Point Loma Band & Orchestra Cluster Concert yesterday. Music is alive and well on the Point - bravo to all!

Tonight, the PLHS Orchestra and Concert band are performing at Correia Middle School at 6pm. Come join us for an evening of festive music!

Vanguard had a great time performing in the OB Holiday Parade! Jingle bells aplenty!

Vanguard took the Mt. Carmel Field Tournament audience on a "Road Trip" today! 2nd place in Division 2A with a score of 62.3. After getting back to school, students carved pumpkins together and watched the movie Beetlejuice!

Next week, come out and support the Vanguard at their last regular season performance at Mira Mesa HS on Sat 11/4 @2:30pm!

Congratulations Vanguard for an energetic and crowd-pleasing performance last night at the Bonita Vista Field Tournament! 1st Place in the 2A division at our first show of the season.
