The Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux is celebrated each year in the Roman Catholic Church on October 1. Known as “The Little Flower,” St. Thérèse (1873–1897) is remembered for her spirituality of the “Little Way,” which emphasizes trust in God, humility, and small acts of love performed with great devotion.
In honor of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, our beloved patron saint, students were invited to bring a flower to school today as we celebrated and honored her feast day. The collection of flowers has become a cherished tradition at St. Therese Academy, and we are deeply grateful to our families for helping make this meaningful experience possible each year.
This beautiful display of flowers serves as a reminder of St. Thérèse’s love for God and others, while giving our students a special opportunity to celebrate the saint whose name and spirit inspire our school community.
