We were excited to join CBM Lifemotion last weekend at the 50th Anniversary session of the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain & Ireland (SCPS) and the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists (CCPS) Annual General Meeting in Glasgow, Scotland!

During this milestone event, we supported CBM Lifemotion’s Cannulation Virtual Reality Workshop, exploring the future of simulation and the visualization of complex devices with hands-on demonstrations of innovative AR-based training tools like CALIFIA®.

The enthusiasm from the healthcare professionals who joined us highlighted the growing importance of simulation and continuous learning in advancing clinical practices.

At Biomed Simulation, our success is powered by a great team, and today we’re excited to recognize one of our standout team members, Alan Alba!

Alan plays a vital role on our engineering team, where he’s a pro at troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing CALIFIA® hardware. His attention to detail ensures that every CALIFIA® patient simulator is in perfect condition before it reaches our customers.

Recently, a new CALIFIA® user praised Alan’s work, sharing how impressed they were when unboxing their equipment. They said their CALIFIA® arrived in perfect condition, packed so well in its Pelican Case that there was no chance of damage during shipping. This is just one example of Alan’s commitment to quality and excellence in all he does.
