The Cocora Valley is a natural landscape located in the central mountain range of the Colombian Andes, specifically in the department of Quindío, in the area of influence of the Los Nevados Natural National Park. It has some national trees of Colombia, such as the wax palm of Quindío (Ceroxylon quindiuense), as well as a great variety of flora and fauna, many of which are endangered and protected under the status of natural national park. The valley, as well as the nearby town of Salento, are located among the main tourist destinations of Colombia. /
El valle de Cocora es un paisaje natural localizado en la cordillera central de los Andes colombianos, específicamente en el departamento del Quindío, en el área de influencia del Parque nacional natural Los Nevados.
