Using plastic eggs and playdough is a fantastic STEAM activity that sparks creativity and imagination.
The materials you’ll need would be some plastic eggs, your favorite colors of playdough, and any additional craft supplies you might want to add—like markers, googly eyes, or stickers. The beauty of this activity is that there are no strict rules; it’s all about experimenting and having fun!
This activity not only encourages creativity but also enhances problem-solving and engineering skills. Plus, it’s a great way to bond and have fun together, whether you’re at home with family or in a classroom setting. Remember, the most important part is to enjoy the process and let your imagination run wild!
So, grab those plastic eggs and playdough, and let your engineering adventure begin! Happy crafting!

The ladybug class presents: Zeke the Zebra! 🦓
The children enjoyed integrating mathematics and art by engaging with shapes, balancing various sized boxes, and painting their sculpture to resemble a zebra. This activity enabled them to recognize and articulate different shapes while also allowing them to analyze, compare, create, and compose shapes effectively.

Dramatic play is a cornerstone of our STEAM curriculum, nurturing essential skills such as problem-solving and creativity. To emphasize this, our theme this week is “Zoo Animals.” We’ve transformed the dramatic play area into a zoo, and we’re excited to see the children’s imaginations, communication skills, and social skills flourish in this environment! 🐒🐨🦁
