Meet Matthew.

Diagnosed with leukemia at age six, he and his family endured a painful journey that taught him how precious life is. Even as a young boy he loved math and discovering how things work, and that curiosity led him to the University of Florida where he’s now a freshman studying mechanical engineering. He hopes to use his skills to drive progress and help others.

Cancer for College scholar, current intern and all around great guy Jayson Gerken is facing cancer for the 5th time. He’s also a die-hard Tampa Bay Rays fan. 👑 Meet Princess!

She is an incredible warrior we want to highlight for Cancer Awareness Month. She's overcome great odds to earn her college degree thanks to support from Cancer for College.

Princess is a survivor of PiloCytic Astrocytoma Optic Nerve Glioma, a slow-growing, low-grade brain tumor. Despite her diagnosis, Princess earned degrees in accounting and spanish while attending the University of Texas Arlington.
