Shoutout to another incredible local Jogathon sponsor right here in the College Area - Woodstock’s Pizza 🍕 SDSU in the Vons shopping center off College and El Cajon Blvd!

We LOVE Woodstock’s! Language Academy has a longstanding tradition of doing pizza 🍕 making field trips with our kinders and 2nd graders! Woodstocks also donates SO much food to our school every year for our teacher appreciation luncheon! Thank you, Woodstocks! We are loyal Woodstock’s Pizza fans for life!

Get ready to ROAR into the new school year at Language Academy with our “Ready, Set, Roar!” event! 🦁📚

Join us on Friday, August 8th from 4-6pm for an evening of music, food, vendors, and FUN for the whole family! 🎶🍔🎉 Class lists will be posted, so come meet your new teachers and classmates.

Let’s hear it for the Language Academy boys middle school football team! 🏈 They had an amazing season! Best of luck to those going on to play high school football this summer. Another shoutout to one of our wonderful Jogathon sponsors Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs. Their San Diego location is walking distance from school and features over 30 signature sub sandwiches, as well as a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and munchies. Thank you for your feeding our volunteers on the day of Jogathon! Everything was delicious!
Cheba Hut is a “Toasted” sub concept that has been curing munchies since its start in 1998. Founder Scott Jennings decided to showcase the harmony between great tasting food and … well, a very specific counter-culture. Check out their outdoor patio and try a local beer from neighborhood breweries.

What really sets Cheba Hut apart, though, can only be experienced in their shop. They combine homegrown food with real people in a relaxed environment. Escape the established.
