After 5 incredible years, we are saying goodbye to someone who has left a lasting mark on the Kicknswim family.

Donovan brought fun, energy, and heart into everything he did. He became more than just an employee — he became a mentor, a leader, and a great assistant manager for Kicknswim. His impact can be seen in the confidence he built, the lessons he taught, and the example he set every single day.

It’s never easy to say goodbye to someone who has given so much to this place. While we are incredibly sad to see him go, we are also incredibly proud as he leaves to pursue becoming an officer in the United States Marine Corps through Officer Candidate School this summer.

Thank you for everything, Donovan. You will always be part of the Kicknswim family. We know you will continue to make a difference wherever you go.

Jamey Jaramillo – Instructor

Having two children of her own, she understands the importance of learning to swim for a child’s enjoyment and a parent’s peace of mind. Through her experience over the last 20+ years, she has taught infants, special needs children, and children/adults with extreme fear of water. Through her fun loving nature, she significantly reduces anxiety and passes on her love for the pool to everyone. She has 13 years experience as a classroom teacher and eight years as a school administrator. Due to her school principal job, she teaches in a very limited capacity.
