#fromthedrafts Months and months ago, my dad, my sister, and I were back at it again 🫶🏼 This time taking on a glass-on-glass mosaic workshop at @bravoschoolof_art ! The class was spread out over two sessions, which gave us time to work on our pieces at home in between sessions and spend some time creating together. 💜 At the time, we were moving through a really hard season in life, and having a space to turn our brains off and make something with our hands felt healing in a way. This cute lil compilation has been collecting dust in the drafts, so l’m setting it free! 💜 I’ll post the pics of our finished pieces soon. If you’ve been wanting to reconnect with your creativity, I’d definitely recommend checking out Bravo School. Join us Wednesday in this really fun class. Reimagine your old furniture as a new arty addition to your world.

In our Painted Funky Furniture class learn how easy it is to create your own unique piece of decorative functional art by painting images, textures or patterns on furniture! Please bring an old or new chair, small table, stool or bench. Wooden, upholstered or plastic are fine. For inspiration, bring pictures, cards, gift wrap or art books of your favorite artist. Ideas, brushes, paint, etc., will be provided. Today's the day!!! Pop-up Indigo Dyeing and Shibori (Tie Dye) session. Please bring a clean t-shirt, pillowcase, kitchen towel (not terry cloth), tote bag, etc made of 100% cotton. No sweatshirts~ they're too thick. White or light colored fabric work the best. You will spend less than 2 hours dyeing beautiful shades of blue.
