Hello again. It’s been a while since we’ve shared here, but the work hasn’t stopped. From the ASSET® Series and ASSET® Leadership Academy to Think.Feel.Read.® and the Student Wellness Project®, we’ve been hard at work supporting our Expanded Learning community.

San Diego COE first to offer PK-3 credential intern program – CSBA Blog When the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) was approved to offer the first PK-3 intern program in California, staff hit the ground running to ensure teachers would be properly equipped to support the community’s youngest learners.

Look at the EXTRAORDINARY LIGHTS ON AFTER SCHOOL event our Calexico friends orchestrated! Nothing less than absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!

More US schools are taking breaks for meditation. Teachers say it helps students' mental health School districts across the U.S. are adopting mental health practices as a part of their daily schedules and curriculums. Yoga, meditation and mindfulness exercises are being implemented alongside traditional reading, math and science lessons.

Our Student Wellness Project in Calexico, California is coming to a close for the 2023-2024 school year. We’re grateful to the amazing students and staff we had the opportunity to collaborate with this year! Special thank you to Esmeralda Garcia and the EXTRAORDINARY SPARKS team for bringing SWP to fruition! What an AMAZING team and AWESOME project 👏

🎉On Saturday After School Unlimited served over a hundred change makers with After School Staff Essential Training®. ASSET® is a trauma-informed framework and collection of positive engagement tools designed to help after school professionals create safe spaces for connection and learning.
