Get your waiver in before Running Club starts on September 9! Go to https://spreckelspta.org/runningclub to download the form. Fill it out and drop it in the PTA box in the front office, so you'll be ready to hit the ground running!

Connect with old friends and make new ones at our Back to School Family Play Date! Join us at Standley Park on Friday, August 28, from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. Purchase shave ice from the Kona Ice truck, and 20% of proceeds will go to the Spreckels PTA. All children must be accompanied by an adult (no drop-offs).

Are you interested in getting involved with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts at Spreckels? We'd love to have you join us! You're invited to our DEI Team Parent Coffee Meeting on Monday, August 17, at 9:00 a.m. at Coffee Bean. Come meet other families, talk about topics that matter to our school community, share ideas, help plan events, and enjoy a cup of coffee. We'd love to see you there!

Did you know you can support Spreckels PTA while grocery shopping? Go to ralphs.com/account/communityrewards and log in to your Ralph's account. Then search for JOHN SPRECKELS ELEMENTARY PTA or NA949 and select "enroll." Use your Ralph's card when you shop. That's it!

TK and kindergarten families can meet their teachers this Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:30 pm (before the Popsicle Party at 3 pm). Hope to see you there!

It's almost time to go back to school! Join us for a Welcome Back Popsicle Party on Friday, August 7, from 3 pm to 4 pm. We will gather under the lunch arbor to see old friends, meet new ones, and celebrate the upcoming school year. The campus will be open to all students and their families, but classrooms will not be open. Children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult. This is NOT a drop-off event.

Incoming UTK and kindergarten families, please join us for a summer play date at Standley Park! We have two options: July 25 (9 am–11 am) and August 4 (4 pm–6 pm). This is a great time to connect with other families and learn how you can become involved with the PTA.

Families of rising 5th graders: Please consider donating a little extra time this year to make sure your 5th grader has the best possible final year at Spreckels as possible. We already have many fantastic 5th grade committee members in place, but we need a 5th grade chair to serve as the point person and PTA executive board member. Contact [email protected] (or encourage someone you know who would be an excellent fit!). Without a chair, we can't make 5th Grade Fun Day, Yearbook Party, or promotion activities happen.
