You don’t have to choose between:
• Being present with your kids
• And earning an income
There is a third option.
You can build meaningful work around your life.
One client.
One offer.
One hour at a time.
That’s how so many businesses begin.
Not with a huge audience.
Not with fancy tech.
Not with 40 hours a week.
Just a plan and consistent action.

One thing I’ve noticed during our Visibility Challenge in Corporate Rescue Plan is that today’s challenge, sharing a win, is always one of the hardest.

Why is it so difficult to talk about our successes? Even the small ones.
When I stopped and thought about it, one win immediately came to mind.

Yesterday, I hosted two Momentum Calls inside Corporate Rescue Plan. We offered two different times, and I got to spend time helping members work through challenges, create social media plans and take action.

That’s a win for me because their wins are my wins.
I also recorded a new training today answering member questions, which is always one of my favorite things to create because it’s based on exactly what people need right now.

One thing I love about summer is that after a busy homeschool year and all the kids’ activities, I get a little more space to focus on serving my community.
So that’s my June win:
Helping my clients.
Their wins are my wins.
It’s truly that simple.

✨ Now it’s your turn. What’s one win you’re celebrating this month—big or small?

I ignored these signs for years.
You’re constantly feeling pulled between work and your family.
Your schedule belongs to everyone else.
You dream about more flexibility every single week.
You’re successful on paper but still feel unfulfilled.
You’re building someone else’s dream while putting yours on hold.
Motherhood changed what success looked like for me.
I didn’t need less ambition.
I needed work that fit the season I was in.
If you’ve been feeling that nudge lately, don’t ignore it.

ime for the Visibility Challenge Week 2 Check-In 💛

Can I be honest?

This week has felt harder than I expected.

My biggest struggle has been finding focused work time. As someone whose top strength is focus, I know how important it is, but lately there have been so many competing priorities pulling me in different directions.

I’ve also found myself wondering:

Am I overcommitting?

How am I going to get everything done?

What needs to be let go?

And if I’m really honest, one of the biggest challenges of this season is not having a lot of support or extra help with the kids. Some days it feels like I’m constantly trying to squeeze work into the margins.

But here’s what I’m reminding myself:

The goal isn’t perfection.

The goal is consistency.

Even if it’s one post.
One reel.
One small step.

Momentum matters more than perfect conditions.

Anyone else feeling this way this week?

What’s been your biggest struggle during the Visibility Challenge so far?

Have you ever felt like your work doesn’t fit your season of motherhood?

One of my biggest regrets was staying far too long in a job that no longer fit me.

I tried so hard to make it work.
I pushed harder.
Worked harder.
Stayed longer.
Kept trying to prove myself.

And I think so many women, especially mothers, are doing the exact same thing right now.

Are you scared to make a career change? I get it!!!

Twelve years ago my husband, John, quit his day job to take over as Chief Operating Officer at Classy Career Girl. He believed in me and my mission and knew what was possible if we worked together as a team in business and parenting.

We thought it was going to work 🤞 (and it did), but do you even know how scary that was? 😬Or how everyone thought we were CRAZY when we both quit our jobs to work on our business? With a 3 month old baby in tow?

Who are we kidding? The truth is that it’s been really hard. And it’s been so fun. But mostly, it’s been the BEST time of our lives and we haven’t regretted it for ONE SECOND!

If you are considering a scary career change, trust me I get it! But 5 years from now, you’ll be so happy you started moving towards your dream. Even if it’s just a few small steps every week. It will be so so so so so so SO worth it!

Comment PLAN and I’ll DM you the exact planner I used to launch my business and quit my day job in 90 days.

For years, I felt like women were being told they had to choose between motherhood and their calling.

Either:
➡️ build a career that consumes your life
OR
➡️ walk away from your dreams completely.

But what if there was another option?
A slower, more intentional way to build meaningful work around motherhood and what matters most.
Not hustle culture.
Not burnout.
Not trying to prove yourself.

Just meaningful work, flexible income, simple rhythms, and a life built around your real priorities.

✨ I’m calling it The Third Option for Moms.
And honestly?
I believe this is what so many women are really searching for right now.
You can have motherhood.
You can have calling.
You can have meaningful work too.

Everyone wants more time.
More time for themselves.
More time for their business.
More time with their kids.
But most people aren’t willing to do the boring things that create it.
My mornings aren’t glamorous.
💧 Water
🪥 Brush teeth
🚿 Shower
📖 Devotional reading
📝 Review my to-do list
📱 Messages and reach-outs
🏡 15-minute house reset
🚶‍♀️ 15-minute walk
🎥 15 minutes creating
🏋️ Strength training
That’s it.
No magic routine.
No secret productivity hack.
Just simple things done consistently.
And here’s the crazy part...
By 9 AM, I’ve already:
✔ Spent time with God
✔ Worked on my business
✔ Moved my body
✔ Taken care of my home
✔ Taken care of myself
And now it’s time for morning time with the kids.
No guilt.
No rushing.
No feeling behind before the day even starts.
The truth?
Success usually looks a lot more like boring consistency than exciting breakthroughs.
And that’s actually good news.
Because anyone can do boring consistency.
