The SDS Summer Workshop is a virtual Zoom session geared toward incoming first-year and transfer students as they transition into SDSU and establish a connection with Student Disability Services. This 1-hour session is offered throughout June, providing incoming students a chance to learn about SDS’s accommodations, services, and more!

Registration is now open for our Disability Ally Sessions! Disability Ally is designed to establish disability partners and advocates across the San Diego State University campus. The 2-hour seminar provides a variety of disability-related topics, including the accommodation process, diagnoses, the impact of labeling, and disability etiquette.

We will be hosting sessions on:

4/10 @ 10am-12pm (virtual)
4/24 @ 1pm-3pm (in-person)
5/14 @ 2pm-4pm (virtual)
6/17 @ 2pm-4pm (virtual)

Join SASC and One SDSU Community for a virtual film showcase featuring three short films that highlight disability culture and filmmaking. The film screenings will be followed by a panel discussion with Superfest juror Thomas Reid and writer, producer, and star of The Multi, Natasha Ofili. Film showcase is produced by the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability.

SASC will also be hosting an optional watch part in Calpulli Center conference room 2 (4th floor) for those who wish to participate in person. Please RSVP for in-person attendance as space is limited.

The High Tech Center (HTC) will be closed from Wednesday, November 2nd to Friday, November 4th due to relocation. The HTC will re-open at its new location on Monday, November 7th.

New location: Calpulli Center 3rd Floor, Suite 3800.
